“An open world RPG set in colonial India. Play as Rudyard Kipling’s ragamuffin hero, Kim, and roam hand-painted towns and procedurally generated countryside. Learn to survive by fair means or foul, meet characters from history and literature, travel to exotic lands and discover their secrets. Your aim is to live Kim’s youth as best you can, it will not last forever but if at first you don’t succeed, you may retell this classic adventure as often as you wish.”

Stone Story

developed by standardcombo  |  Platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux

“An RPG set in a dark and vile world.”

“One of the game’s defining mechanics is that you have no direct control of the player character. You choose what items to equip, which location to visit and chill out while an artificial intelligence does all the exploring, combat and looting. That doesn’t mean this is an idle game. Potions and special abilities are maximized by good timing.

“Boss fights are intense and can keep you at the edge of your seat, requiring quick item swaps if the boss changes patterns. Additionally, an expansive item crafting system allows you to combine otherwise disposable items–rewarding experimentation, giving you interesting choices and making full use of all the gathered loot.”
